From the train station
Walk. Ten minutes, flat, and you approach the castle along the wall rather than arriving at the back of it, which is a better first look at the thing. If you would rather ride, tram 1 and Busway 4 both stop at Duchesse Anne, named after Anne de Bretagne herself.
If you are moving around the city all day
