Privacy policy
This site collects as little as it can. There is no account to create, no newsletter to join and no form to fill in. If you never click a booking link, the only thing that happens is that a page loads.
What is collected
Anonymised analytics: which pages get read, roughly which country a visit comes from, and which links get clicked. I use it to work out which pages are useless. No profiles are built, nothing is sold, and I have no way of identifying an individual reader from it.
GetYourGuide widgets and cookies
The availability widgets on pages like the city pass review are loaded from GetYourGuide, and they may set cookies so that a booking is attributed to partner id 7GG5I5H. If you go on to book, you do it on GetYourGuide, under their privacy policy, with the card details and contact information you give them. None of that reaches me — I see a commission line, not a customer.
Fonts and external links
Web fonts load from Google Fonts. Links out to the château’s own site, to maps and to GetYourGuide take you to services with their own policies, and I have no control over what those record.
Your choices
Block cookies in your browser and the site still works; the booking widgets are the only part that depends on them. Read the affiliate disclosure for what the tracking is actually for, or write to me with a question about your data.
